It has especially to his good that the son of abundant wealth most famously known as the owner of Premier Lotto, the street lottery popular branded “Baba Ijebu”, Sir Kensington Adebutu, is claiming winner of the March 28, 2023, gubernatorial election in Ogun state.

Lado, as the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is also known, insists he won the election in which Governor Dapo Abiodun was named the winner with a slim margin.

Sitting on 60 hectares in Iperu Remo, Ogun State – the base of the Adebutus – is the claim to fame Ladi Adebutu in business, And one of his money spinners – SKAAL (Solomon Kessington Agro-Allied Limited). It is what has earned Adebutu the appellation of the owner of the largest pig farm in Nigeria. The farm is said to house over 23,000 pigs.
SKAAL, however, is not just a huge pig farm. The big business which started some about 30 years ago has embraced the rearing of Cattle (cows and bulls), rams, goats, donkey, sheep, horses, camels, geese, and crocodiles.

Part of his giant strides in these sectors includes the acquisition of over 120 hectares in Ode-Remo, Ogun state for a Golf Resort. Insiders disclosed that the former federal House of Representatives member is putting in place a 150-room Hotel and an 18-hole Golf Course among other attractions. Added are landed properties and houses within and outside Ogun state all under the management of Kessington Real Estate and Tourism Nigeria Limited.
Also included in the list of income earners for the holder of an Irish National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry is a fleet of Haulage Trucks – amassed over time – servicing the needs of his farm and commercial purposes.
Those who should know revealed that among the number of money gulpers with prospects of high yields, he is working on is a Meat Processing plant. The bright future associated with this investment is said to be such that the Bank of Industry (BOI) is mentioned as an interested party. SocietyNow.Ng gathered that the Meat Processing plant can handle 100 pigs and 50 cows per day with an employment capacity of 500 in the production chain. There are also talks of a Food Processing Plan to come.

More information available to SocietyNow.Ng revealed that the popular name who came to political prominence as a 30year old member of the National Assembly in 1992 is also expending money on the establishment of a Biogas project that will convert animal waste to energy on his farm. The objective is to generate electricity for the fame and extend it to neighboring farms and communities when actualized and capacity improved. Insiders affirm a huge money gulper and the biggest wind of his popularity is Ladi Adebutu Development Organisation (sharing an acronym with his nickname LADO). lt is the non-governmental organization (NGO) that houses the politician’s philanthropic gestures. The NGO caters for widows, vulnerable students (scholarships and school fees), and the needs of communities across Ogun state also provides free health care services to those in need with special provisions for orphans among other things.
