What NURTW Top Man Seego Is Up To With Kunle Poly & Other Bosses In Detention

Mustapha Adekunle, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) top shot known as Seego is on the move.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that the second most powerful person within the Lagos state chapter of the NURTW is consolidating his hold on the troubled Lagos Island area of the transport union’s operations.

The information at hand has it that Seego who is the Treasurer of the NURTW in Lagos State is working at reconciling and bringing all dissents groups under the absolute control of state Chairman Musiliu Akinsanya.

Seego is regarded as the closest transport unionist to Akinsanya who is widely known as MC Oluomo.

Targeted are loyalists of the NURTW branch chairmen in Idumota clamped into detention based on court order over the recent fracas that resulted in the death of one person and looting of shops and offices.

The transport union bosses are Kunle Poly (Kunle Lawal), Okoro (Kosoko Akeem Agboola), and Egbon Idowu (Idowu Onikoyi).

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that Seego who outranks the detained NURTW top shots but is also a branch chairman – with a larger domain – in Lagos is making the move on the premise of putting structures in place to ensure the issues that caused unwanted attention and detention are eradicated.

While Egbon Idowu and Okoro are loyalists of the Seego and the MC Oluomo administration, Kunle Poly is said to owe loyalty to forces outside of their realm.

“What Seego is doing now is to convince Kunle’s men and loyalists of the others that it is the best interest of the union for all to sheath the sword, work together and avoid skirmishes that resulted in Government intervention which shut down their operations and earned Poly, Okoro and Egbon Idowu detention” SocietyNow.ng gathered.
