2027: “We Are Well Able” – Gov Eno Leads Akwa Ibom APC To Nov 1 Special Dedication Service
at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, will on Sunday lead leaders, candidates and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to a special dedication service ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The service, organised by the APC in Akwa Ibom State, is scheduled to hold on November 1, 2026, at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo, by 3pm.
The event, themed “We Are Well Able,” is anchored on Numbers 13:30 of the King James Version of the Bible, which states: “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”
According to a statement issued on Friday by the State Chairman of the party, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, the service is being organised at the instance of Governor Eno, who is also the party’s leader in the state.
Ntukekpo said the gathering would provide an opportunity for the party to commit its candidates, leadership and the entire 2027 electioneering process into the hands of God.
He said Governor Eno would lead party candidates, elected representatives, political appointees, stakeholders and members in prayers and worship, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, strength and favour throughout the electoral process.
The party also called on its organs, structures, support groups and members across the state’s 31 local government areas to participate in the service.
It extended the invitation to religious leaders, the Christian community, traditional institutions, civil society organisations and members of the general public.
The dedication service comes as political parties and their candidates begin preparations for the 2027 general elections, with activities expected to intensify ahead of the electoral season.
The APC said it looked forward to welcoming participants as it commits its candidates, leadership, members and the people of Akwa Ibom State to God for the success of forthcoming electoral activities.
The statement was signed by Ntukekpo on October 30, 2026.
