Their Names…Agbede Badly Hit As Key Men Shift Loyalty To MC Oluomo Ahead Of Tomorrow’s NURTW Chair Election

Outgoing chairman of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Tajudeen Agbede is in a state of shock societynow.ng learned.
His plan to stop Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo from becoming his successor has gone awry.
Agbede’s candidate Micheal Odugunle better known as Baba Ajilo faces imminent defeat in the election to determine the new NURTW chairman schedule for tomorrow – August 29 – as Oluomo currently boasts of 90 percent in the pool of 100% support that is the Lagos state chapter of NURTW.
Societynow.ng’s findings revealed that MC Oluomo who is a known street canvasser for popular politician Asiwaju Bola Tinubu secured tremendous support with the shocking switch over in allegiance by Agbede’s key men.
Agbede is a known sympathizer of troubled former governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode.
Added investigation by societynow.ng revealed that influential NURTW elders in Lagos State like Baba Sope in Iyana Ipaja, Solution in Ketu and powerful young turks such as Femi Oluwu and Jaypron have switched have jumped ship from Agbede’s camp to that of Oluomo.
“Agbede is shocked and badly hit by this development because he built his structure around these influential transport union bosses” societynow.ng learned.
Societynow.ng gathered the transport unionists dumped Agbede and moved along with their associates to join forces with MC Oluomo’s team led by Seego (Mustapha Adekunle).
“As things stand, tomorrow’s election is definitely a walk over. Oluomo already has more than enough support to win” a source asserted.
There are talks that Baba Ajilo who is the NURTW branch chairman in Ojota is already contemplating pulling out of the race though Agbede – his sponsor – is insisting on seeing the election through.
