David Olumide Aderinokun is unrelenting in his bid to become the successor of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun as the Senator representing Ogun Central.

Aderinokun the husband of the t.v gal Stephanie Coker is the candidate of the main opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the senatorial district.

The 50year old – his next birthday is August 18 – is up against Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, the Chief of Staff to Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The Chief of Staff got pierced the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial ticket from Amosun with the recognition of the faction he belongs to by the national leadership of the party.

It didn’t help Amosun that he was hunting for the Presidential ticket of the APC – he stepped down for winner Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on election day – during this time.

Added information has it that aided by Aderinokun’s digital team, the increasing numbers of young people backing his candidacy are playing big on the social media space in his name.

“They are educating the populace on the need to register for PVC (permanent voters card) and vote in the election in Aderinokun’s name, images ad videos. And they are keeping it local and outshining his main opponent on and offline” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

Another strategy that is said to be working for the graduate of business studies from the University of East London is increasing collaboration with other candidates and reaching out to political leaders across party lines to “see things his way“.
