The talks are increasing that former Minister for Transportation Rotimi Amaechi is planning to leave the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The talks are said to be particularly loud at the 57year old’s political base, Rivers State.

Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, one of the strong allies of the aspirants who lost the APC presidential ticket to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to the raging claims.

Eze insists that the former governor of Rivers state -October 2007 to May 2015 – on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), “remains faithful to President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the party and believes so much in the sound ideological perspectives of the APC which anchorage is basically progress, amelioration of social inequalities and the pursuit of the essential goodness of Nigerians.”
