One of the instances cited, that tells this story was when Kyari, shortly after he took office, directed in the best interest of the President – to help with the workload – that all files to the President be submitted at his table, including those from the office of the Vice President.

The ministers and others complied but Osinbajo did not.

“Rather the Vice President would wait until the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings and take the files directly to the President and hands them to the ADC, the President work on them return the files. Osinbajo did not report Kyari and kept his relationship with Buhari cordial this way until (Babatunde) Fashola raised the development at the FEC insisting that it was an aberration for files to the President to be submitted to the COS in a manner that postures minister as reporting to him and Buhari expressly ordered an end to such an arrangement and marveled at the maturity deployed by the Vice President ” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

They were fasting and praying for the President while all sorts of speculation abound. And thankfully, the President returned to the country better than he left” SocietyNow.Ng learned.
