Insiders insist that it is wrong to say Sijibomi Ogundele, the property merchant better known as Sujimoto beat up a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Olumide Osoba in a night club.

‘’There was an altercation and it wasn’t as portrayed’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng gathered that Olumide and Sujimoto had a fierce verbal exchange at Sip Night club situated on Akinadesola road, Victoria Island Lagos on Thursday, December 26, 2019 (Boxing day).

‘’But it wasn’t a boxing bout at the night club on boxing day’’ an insider stated cheekily.

Societynow.ng gathered that Olumide hosted friends his annual boxing day party in the earlier part of the day ran into Sujimoto at Sip night club as part of the continuing fun of the day.

‘’I am not sure what sparked it off, but what happened was a feast of verbal assaults and not a festival of fist cuffs as claimed’’ an insider insisted.

The source provided background on the relationship between Olumide and Sujimoto in an attempt to establish that there was no exchanged of fist cuff.

‘’You need to understand the relationship between Olumide and Sujimoto. Olumide’s father Aremo Olusegun Osoba,  the former governor of Ogun state is one of Sujimoto’s godfathers. Aremo Osoba is one of the major influences behind Sujimoto’s real estate business. The former governor accepted Sujimoto a part of his family based on the extraordinary bond the property merchant shares with his son’’ he stated.

Societynow.ng gathered while the talk of club beat up swirls about town, both Olumide and Sujimoto have refused to talk about what happened at Sip night club – based on the code of friendship – to avoid misrepresentation and fueling it.
