Anger As Reps Candidate – And Ex-Gov Osoba’s Son – Olumide Shares Money In The Name Of ‘’TraderMoni’’ In Area He Is Contesting 3Days To Election

There is increased campaign against the ambition of Olumide, the son of former governor Olusegun Osoba to become a Federal Lawmaker in Ogun state.

And this development is attributed to a recent action by the young Osoba.

Olumide shared the controversial Tradermoni in the area he is contesting to become a Federal Lawmaker in Ogun state.

This development which came to be barely three days to the election he is contesting in is attracting wide condemnation.

Tradermoni Scheme – with Vice President Yemi Osibanjo as arrowhead – has been widely branded as a subtle voters inducement ploy by those who opposed the initiative.

The Scheme sees the Federal Government share money to traders as a form of empowerment scheme.

‘’Olumide sharing money in the name of Tradermoni scheme is an area he is contesting as a Federal Lawmaker is definitely a no-no and is attracting widespread condemnation as opposition fuel growing anger over it’’ a source disclosed.

Olumide’s father, Chief Olusegun Osoba is one the main promoters of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ogun state.

Olumide – also a member of the APC – is contesting to return to the Federal House of Representatives as the face of the people of Abeokuta North/ Obafemi- Owode/ Odeda federal constituency of Ogun state.

Olumide faces a strong contest from incumbent lawmaker representing the zone Mikial Kazeem and another contender Rinsola the daughter of late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.

Interesting both Mikail and Rinsola defected from the APC to achieve their dreams on the platforms of the Allied People’s Movement and Action Democratic Party respectively.

Supporters of both opposition candidates are giving strong wings to condemnation sprouting from Olumide’s sharing of money to voters in the name of Trader Money empowerment scheme in the area he is contesting – barely three days to the election.

Olumide Osoba, Rinsola Abiola and Mikail Kazeem – who has the backing of Governor Ibikunle Amosun face the electorate on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

Olumide reportedly shared the TraderMoni to traders who are possible voters on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, in Lafenwa area – of Ogun state – and its environs.
