The information available revealed that instead of giving out the traditional politician’s gift of “rice & vegetable oil” to supporters, the 46years opted to give out cash.
“He selected 800 supporters from the constituencies he represents ( Obafemi/Owode/Odeda/ Abeokuta-North Federal constituency) and gave them N100,000 each” according to those in the know.
The development has reportedly turned him into the talk of the town and – coupled with his increased visibility – is giving wings to claims he is a possible next governor of Ogun state learned.
