All Eyes On Osoba’s Son – and Reps Member – Olumide As Wait On List Of Gov Dapo Abiodun’s Commissioners Continues!

Emerging details have it that all eyes are gradually shifting to Olumide, the son of former Governor Olusegun Osoba in the politics of Ogun State as it affects the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Insiders disclosed that attention is shifting to Olumide who just returned to the Federal House of Representatives as a member from Ogun state as a result of continuing wait on Governor Dapo Abiodun to release the list of his commissioners.

‘’His father’s loyalists in Ogun state now look to him to support the Osoba political structure while they wait on Governor Abiodun to compensate them with major appointments in the new government for helping him to power’’ a source stated.

The Osoba political family joined forces with other caucuses within and outside the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to stop immediate past governor Ibikunle Amosun from denying Abiodun the opportunity to be his successor.

Amosun backed Allied People’s Movement candidate Adekunle Akinlade – who left APC to pursue his gubernatorial ambition – in the fierce gubernatorial contest in Ogun state.

Societynow.ng learned that though they might have won against Amosun on home soil, the coalition of political forces that brought Abiodun to power is currently having it rough in the hands of the former governor in the announcement of federal appointments.

Amosun About To Inflict More Pains On Dapo Abiodun & Members Of His Political Alliance!

societynow.ng learned increasing talks about this development have unsettled the camps of the political forces backing Governor Abiodun, especially the Osoba political family because ‘’it has greatly decimated the spoils of their victory’’ a source stated.

Insiders disclosed that the development has put added pressure on Governor Abiodun in determining who gets what in announcing his commissioners.

Societynow.ng learned that the Governor is expected to announce his commissioners on or before October 2019.

The added revelation available has it that as the wait on the list of commissioners continues, the attention of the members of the Osoba political family – and some of the coalition forces – have shifted to Olumide Osoba.

‘’They have started campaigning that he should also bring the opportunities that come with being a Federal House of Representatives member to the table as part of the spoils of victory for the whole party’’ societynow.ng learned.

Olumide currently operates with the status of his father serving as a shield from ‘’certain demands’’.

Insiders disclosed that the party men have initiated moves to ‘’ deal’’ with Olumide as just another member without the cover of his father.

‘’Osoba ordinarily should be the leader of the party in Ogun state but the party structured its operating in such a way that the power that comes with such a position resides with the governor’’ societynow.ng learned.

Insiders, however, disclosed that to his credit Governor Abiodun relates with Osoba as his leader but what is not clear at present is whether when the chips are down he would allow the former governor to wield the power of a leader.
