Sacked Secret Police Boss Daura Arrested, Detained

Sacked Director General of the State Security Service Lawal Musa Daura has been arrested and detained.

Daura was sacked on the orders of the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo societynow.ng learned.

President Muhammadau Buhari is currently out of the country on vacation.

The sack of the secret police boss’ is believed to be in connection with deployment of operatives to effect a blockade of the National Assembly.

Daura’s appointment was terminated with immediate effect on the premise of “breaching national security” societynow.ng gathered.

The Secret police boss’ arrest is said to be in connection with the same “allegation”.
