Why Adebutu Made N50m Donation At Anisulowo’s 75th Birthday
widely acknowledged as a show of honour
The Lisa Aje of Ota-Awori and 2023 Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, made a donation of ₦50 million at the 75th birthday celebration of Distinguished Senator Iyabode Anisulowo.
The event, which held in Ilaro, brought together family members, political associates, and well-wishers to celebrate the life and legacy of the former lawmaker.
Adebutu announced a donation of ₦10 million towards the church development, and another ₦20 million for the launch of the celebrant’s book titled “My Story of Grace and Grit” with ₦10 million made personally and an additional ₦10 million on behalf of his father, Sir Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu GCON.
The gesture was widely acknowledged as a show of honour and appreciation for the celebrant’s years of service, leadership, and impact.
