Growing Talks About V.P Osinbajo’s New Political Base In Ogun

One of the two most talked-about Presidential aspirants for the 2023 election, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has a new political base.

Laolu Akande, the Vice President’s aide confirmed Osinbajo moved from Lagos – where he forged his political status – to Ikenne, Ogun state where some trace his ancestry. His wife Dolapo, a granddaughter of an unparalleled nationalist and the legend of the west, Chief Obafemi Awolowo is from Ikenne.

“It is the new base of Game Boys. They prefer to operate in that area because of the strong security in place. You can’t just arrest anybody in Ikenne, especially if you are an arresting officer from out town. You have to first report to the police station. The game boys love that arrangement. They are keying into the due process to avoid sudden arrest ” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

“Game boys” is the street name for internet fraudsters also known as “Yahoo Boys.”

The “Game Boys” have been under relentless pressure in Ogun State, particularly the state capital Abeokuta in the face of collaboration between the Dapo Abiodun administration and anti-graft agencies.
