Insiders disclose that the immediate past Senator representing Ogun Central now does a lot more listening.

“He listens more to what people have to say nowadays than he used to. And he also does a lot of giving,” sources reveal.

The giving involves impactful gestures by the influential politician, described as generous to a fault—especially when it concerns people he cares about or causes he holds strong convictions for.

However, the politician, whose close rapport with his predecessor as Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, is sparking unending conversations, remains intentional about keeping his charitable acts under wraps, findings revealed.

A devout Muslim, Amosun—who owns one of the most formidable political structures in Ogun State—adheres to Islamic principles that discourage boasting about good deeds.

“That is why, despite all the good things he does, you will hear little about them in public spaces,” insiders insist.

Daniel, the incumbent Senator representing Ogun East, and Amosun, the ex-Senator from Ogun Central, control two out of the three influential political structures in the state’s ruling party.

This rapport has fueled speculation crediting them with significant influence over who becomes the party’s gubernatorial candidate in the next general election, as well as the eventual winner.
