Young Monarch, Saheed Elegushi has a dream.
He wants to become the biggest ‘’chicken farmer’’ in Africa.
And in an era where there is great agitation for shift in focus from Oil as the backbone of the nation’s economy – the 40year old has gone beyond lip service to embrace the most talked about target of many, Agriculture.
‘’Particularly rearing chicken…poultry’’ a source stated.
Kusenla 111 as the youngest Lagos Monarch is known is said to have set up ‘’a huge chicken farm that is more than a village in Epe’’, the outskirt of Lagos state.
According to an insider ‘’ the investment is mind blowing’’.
‘’You need to see it, it is more than a whole village’’ the source insisted excitedly.
Further revelation have it the move is the first step in the trendy monarch’s ambition of becoming the biggest ‘’Chicken Farmer’’ In Africa.
‘’He wants to become the biggest player in that sector in this part of the world’’ an insider disclosed.
Insiders further revealed the Monarch installed as the Oba Elegushi of Ikateland on April 27 2010 is keen not to make any noise about his investment for now.
‘’He wants to be ready..have something worthy to announce or even better, let the success of the project announce it before speaking on it’’ another source divulged.
It is however not yet clear how long the Monarch fans and friends address as ‘’King Gucci’’, a funky version of his name ‘’Elegushi’’ has being working on the project.
