Popular King in Lagos, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi has a friend many consider his closest.

The person regarded as the best friend of the king of Ikateland is Oba Olalekan Dosunmu.

Oba Olalekan Dosunmu is the Akinsiku of Lagos.

The Akinsiku as the Olori (Head) of the Adamu Orisa is the leader of the famous Eyo Cult in Lagos.

Societynow.ng gathered that the Akinsiku of Lagos and Oba Ademola Elegushi are childhood friends.

Though the Gushi king as the 45yr old Oba Elegushi is informally hailed occupies a higher status, the Olori Eyo is older.

They both grew up in Lagos Island and forged their closeness over the years.

Dubbed the “life” of any social gathering he steps, the Akinsiku of Lagos attended St. Johns School, Aroleya, Methodist Boys High School Broad Street before he traveled to America for a prolonged spell.

He took up the mantle of the Head of the Eyo in Lagos – formerly occupied by his grandfather – after he returned. (The Eyo originated from Remo, Ogun State).

Dosunmu has held the position for the past 10 years.

A dresser and very outgoing and well known on the social scene, the Akinsiku of Lagos is very active on social media, particularly Instagram where he has over 76 thousand followers with just 981 posts at press time.

He is a fitness enthusiast who delights in posting videos and photos of his workouts – as well outings with friends, including King Saheed Ademola Elegushi.
