Olori Sekinat Aramide, the wife of young monarch Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi has provided a delightful peep into the couple’s history.

Olori Elegushi has narrated how she rode in the popular public bus known as Molue with her husband.

Sharing the experience the mother of three stated “It did not go well with me at the time but because I loved him, I agreed to do it. He said he just wanted me to have the experience of boarding a public bus. I also told my mum and she encouraged me to do it. Unfortunately, I lost my gold earrings in the course of the ride. There wasn’t enough space in the bus, so I had to sit on his laps. We sat very close to the entrance and I was so scared that I would fall off. After a while, a passenger alighted and I was able to sit properly.

That experience was profound and some weeks ago, I told my daughters that I would give them that experience. I want them to feel what people who use public transport go through. Though they are privileged to be born into a royal family, I want them to understand that life is not a bed of roses.”

Olori Elegushi whose husband is the king of Ikateland, Lagos state shared the experience in an interview monitored by societynow.ng on the punchng.com.

Societynow.ng gathered that the interesting episode happened before kingship came calling.

Olori Sekinat further disclosed before she gave in to courtship and eventual marriage to the King, she “thought he was one of the ‘boys’ in the area then but he proved himself to be different.”

The information at hand revealed that the royal couple celebrated their 17th year marriage anniversary this year.
