Nothing But The Truth!…Young Monarch Saheed Ademola Elegushi’s Involvement In Emergence Of ”MC Oluomo” As NURTW Chairman

Societynow.ng’s investigation revealed that whatever his leanings, it is wrong to accuse young monarch (Oba)Saheed Ademola Elegushi of spearheading the emergence of Musiliu Akinsanya as the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State.
‘’Whatever allegations are being thrown the way of Oba Elegushi, it is simply bile because the ground for the grouse is unfounded’’ societynow.ng learned.
The emergence of Oluomo sparked off pockets of protests – amongst members of the Transport Union body – which include taking grievances to the Lagos State House of Assembly and the office of the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Contrary to claims in some quarters insiders disclosed that the list of the Caretaker Committee that put Oluomo in charge of the affairs of the NURTW in Lagos State was put together by new National President Ibikunle Baruwa with the endorsement of his predecessor Najim Yasin.
Oluomo was one of those that passionately campaigned for Baruwa to become the new National President of the NURTW.
‘’This is not to say that Oba Elegushi was not favorably disposed to Oluomo becoming the NURTW chairman or supported him. But certainly not as bandied about in all these trash talks of monetary gift and taking him here and there.’’ a source stated and explained.
‘’There is Seego (Mustapha Adekunle), Kudeleti (Sulaimon Olamide Ojora) and Oluomo (Musiliu Akinsanya) all known to Tinubu and his inner circle like Oba Elegushi, Rauf Aregbesola, James Odumbaku, and others. These transport unionists work together and understand that they need the backing of Tinubu and his inner circle to get what they want, remain relevant and they make it a point of duty to inform and lobby Asiwaju and those that surround in circumstances such as this. So if Oba Elegushi is favorably inclined to Oluomo becoming NURTW chairman in Lagos state it would be in this context and not in the manner being branded’’.
Multiple sources confirmed to societynow.ng that, indeed Asiwaju Tinubu and his inner circle have not thrown their weight into the fight that threw up Oluomo as the Chairman of the NURTW in Lagos State.
‘’Oluomo’s emergence is still a case of clout mustered by his working together with Seego and Kudeleti and others joining forces with them to protect personal interests and it is all still within the union and that is the truth’’ an insider insists.
Societynow.ng gathered that the core of the protesters is the remnants of opposition loyal to the former chairman – now of the national vice presidents – Tajudeen Agbede led by his ferocious loyalist who just scampered underground Kunle ‘’Poly’’ Lawal.
‘’Interestingly the protesters are also fighting to protect personal interests too because their earnings are threatened with Oluomo becoming the NURTW chairman, just that they are making things worse for selves with these false accusations against one of the influential citizens of Lagos state’’ a source pointed out.
