“You Face Criminal Charges” – Rev E.M.F Oshoffa Moves Against Fake C.C.C Task Force Officials, Lists Offenders
would be charged with impersonation
Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ (C.C.C.) Worldwide, has issued a stern warning to individuals parading themselves as officers of the church’s Task Force Corps without official authorization.
In a memo referenced CCC/WHQ/EMF/PO/PS/CIR-002/07-24, dated July 19, 2024, Reverend Oshoffa made it clear that anyone caught posing as a Task Force Coordinator or officer without a valid appointment letter from the Corps leadership would be charged with impersonation — a criminal offence under Section 484 of the Nigerian Criminal Code Act.
The Pastor described as “unacceptable” the growing number of persons claiming to be members, chairmen, or coordinators of the C.C.C. Task Force Corps without due recognition, warning that such actions undermine the church’s integrity and order.
“If anyone is caught parading himself or herself as a Task Force Coordinator or officer without an appointment letter from the leadership of the Corps, such an individual would be charged with impersonation,” Reverend Oshoffa stated.
The directive further identified those affected as individuals who had not been duly trained, accepted, or registered by the Corps leadership, yet continue to present themselves as officials or coordinators of the church’s Task Force units across states and divisions.
The Pastor reminded members that impersonation is a criminal act punishable by imprisonment, quoting the relevant section of the law:
“Any person who, with intent to defraud any person, falsely represents himself to be some other person, living or dead, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for three years.”
The Pastor’s statement, signed by AVSE Kayode Ajala, Head of Media and Publicity, C.C.C. Worldwide, reinforces the church’s renewed commitment to discipline, accountability, and spiritual integrity within all its arms.
Reverend Oshoffa urged members to verify the authenticity of Task Force officials and report any cases of impersonation to the Corps leadership, stressing that only duly appointed and trained officers are authorized to operate under the C.C.C. Task Force Corps banner.
