People Keeping Tinubu’s Chances Of Picking APC Presidential Ticket Very Bright

As more aspirants declare interest in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential ticket for the 2023 election insiders within the party insist forerunner Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains in a very strong position.

And this position is attributed to the national spread of the powerful men within the APC passionately promoting the political leader’s presidential ambition within and outside the political party in their zones.

Immediately at stake are the 7,800 votes of delegates that will determine who gets the APC Presidential ticket at the primary election scheduled for Monday, May 30, 2022.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that championing the Tinubu’s Presidential ambition in the North West where the largest votes of delegates from a state in APC resides is Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Aliyu Wammako.

Ganduje a very influential politician in the axis is the Governor of Kano the state with the largest number of delegates 465.

Wammako is the former Governor of Sokoto the state with one of the average counts of delegates 193.

The two formidable politicians with a big say in the affair of the north are working with Kashim Shettima who is the arrowhead of the Tinubu agenda in the North East.

Shettima, the touted Director-General of the Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign is a former two-term Governor of Borno the state with the third-largest number of APC delegates 324.

Shettima and the incumbent Governor of Borno State Babagana Zulum – who continues to express undiluted admiration for the politics of Tinubu – are working hand in glove on the presidential ambition project.

SocietyNow.Ng’s further checks revealed that in the south-south political leaders Adams Oshiomhole (Edo state), Ovie Omo – Agege (Delta State) and Magnus Abe (Rivers State) are playing the Tinubu’s script.

Insiders insist that the Deputy Senate President (Omo- Agege), Former Governor and APC National Chairman (0shiomhole), and the former senator and gubernatorial aspirant (Abe) are for “Asiwaju Tinubu” and working towards the same end goal with the political leader.

Orji Uzor Kalu and Chris Ngige, the realists and long-term associates of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu are identified as “bankable political actors in the southeast” once the reality of the feasibility of the zone producing the next president becomes clearer.

Orji and Ngige are both former Governors (Anambra and Abia State) and incidentally were beneficiaries of the favors of Tinub during haunting times during their tenures.

In the Southwest, the holders of the keys to the fourth and fifth delegates to the APC Presidential primary are at the forefront of Tinubu’s presidential bid in the region.

They are Governors Gboyega Oyetola with Osun’s 308 and Babajide Sanwo-Olu with Lagos’ 304.
