The Nigerian Labor Congress has hinted that the planned strike for Monday, September 28, 2020, may be called off.

The NLC posted on its official twitter handle ‘’ STRIKE BEGINS TOMORROW MONDAY 28th SEPTEMBER UNLESS OUR DEMANDS ARE MET – NLC’’

The tweet generated about 5,292 retweets and 1,097 quote tweets within two hours it was posted.

Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the National House of Representatives, and other key players in the National Assembly have joined in the last minutes spirited efforts to stop the nationwide strike and protest.
