The emerging details have it that the former Kano State Chief Judge Shehu Atiku died after a brief illness.

The information that is available to societynow.ng revealed that Baba Jibo Ibrahim, the spokesman for the Kano Judiciary made known this development late Sunday night, September 27, 2020.

Information monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng revealed that the spokesperson gave the time of burial as ‘’ morning around 11 a.m at his residence.’’

Justice Atiku who retired from the bench in 2015 as the Chief Justice of Kano is famous for his principled stand as a member of the failed banks tribunal.

He refused to all forms of inducement in his handling of cases before him.
