MC Oluomo, Amosun’s Man Jango Top List Of Contenders For NURTW President Job

The contest to determine the new National President of the National Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW) is on.

Information at hand revealed four transport union bosses have emerged as top contenders.

The contenders are Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), Tajudeen Agbede, Akeem Adesoun (Jango) and Omotayo Falope.

They have all purchased the form that makes them eligible to contest the position.

Jango

Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo is the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of NURTW, Tajudeen Agbede a former vice president of the union is the current National Caretaker Chairman, Adeosun better known as Jango was the chairman of the NURTW in Ogun state beholden to ex-governor Ibikunle Amosun while Omotayo Falope oversees the affairs of the transport body in Ekiti State.

SocietyNow.Ng’s checks revealed that they all played prominent roles, with MC Oluomo as frontliner, in the ouster of Ibikunle Baruwa for allegedly overstaying in office – as the immediate past national president.

Agbede

Added information has it that an olive branch has been offered to Baruwa to partake in the process as well.

Those who should know, however, insist that among all the contenders MC Oluomo has the strongest backing, within and outside the transport body, to become NURTW President.
