Details: Transport Union Boss, MC Oluomo Makes Big Comeback To NURTW

Musiliu Akinsanya, the transport union boss famously known as MC Oluomo has returned to his claim to fame NURTW (National Union of Road Transport Workers).
SocietyNow.Ng gathered he returns in a very big way by engineering the appointment of Tajudeen Agbede as the new National President.
“But in reality, Agbade will be operating as the National Chairman Caretaker Committee for now” SocietyNow.Ng learned
The development brings immediate closure to the crisis that forced MC Oluomo and his crew out of the NURTW in February 2022.
The crisis was the result of a deep-seethed faceoff between MC Oluomo who was the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter and immediate past NURTW President Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa.
Baruwa, eyeing the mega returns from Lagos State, attempted to seize control from MC Oluomo and his crew headed by Seego(Mustapha Adekunle) and Kudety (Sulaimon Ojora) but was spiritedly countered.
The development resulted in the ban of NURTW operation in all parks and garages in the state on March 11, 2022, and the subsequent creation of the Lagos State Park Management Authority headed by MC Oluomo days later.
MC Oluomo leveraged the position using contacts within the NURTW to install Agbede as the national President of the NURTW.
It helped in no small measure that he is known to have access to President Bola Tinubu SocietyNow.Ng learned.
The Lagos state Transport Union boss and his crew are presently at the forefront of harmonizing the NURTW into a more formidable organization with Agbede’s appointment as National President.
A meeting of all the Union’s top men in the South West states was held recently as part of the move.
Those who should disclose that the plan is to extend the overtures to all other states and regions.

Oluomo and his top men Seego, Kudety and others are fierce members of the All Progressives Congress and massively backed by the Lagos establishment.
They were frontline campaigners in the election that gave Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the Presidency.

Insiders, however, disclosed that although MC Oluomo and his men have become very involved in the affairs of the NURTW, they are still operating as officials of the Lagos State Park Management team.
