The owner of the appellation that defines industriousness in creating wealth in the yearned for era that hard work was generally seen as a thing of pride, Mama Olowoletiasho is no more.
Mama Olowoletiasho is senior citizen Musiliat Amoke, the mother of one a kind large heart Ramon Nasir. “Olowoletiasho”- which translates to one who keeps money at the tip of her cloth – speaks to the period before banks, when industrious women kept their earnings at the tip of their wrapper, wrapped around their body for safe keeping.
The bearer of the coveted nickname breathed her last in the morning of Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the high profile Duchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.

A devout muslim, the 86year old was interred before sundown – according to islamic dictates – same day at her residence in Ado-Odo Ogun state with plans underway for a more elaborate ceremony to sign post her passage.
The planned elaborate ceremony has become a huge look forward to for many across different social standings.
The massive interest in the upcoming burial – earmarked for September – is attributed to the good deeds of Mama Olowoletiasho accentuated by the enormous goodwill mustered over the years by her offsprings with Ramon Nasir at the forefront.
