Insiders Insist Abiodun Will Reappoint Talabi As Ogun SSG

Insiders disclosed that Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun will reappoint Tokunbo Talabi as the Secretary to the State Government for the second term that is already underway.

This is amid intense speculation of a planned change in the team that served with Abiodun in his first term.

Abiodun was sworn in for a second term in office on Monday, May 29, 2023.

Based on the near-loss he suffered in the election that gave him a second term, there is enormous pressure on Abiodun to populate his appointments in his second term with career politicians that will help him to be more politically formidable for future engagements SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The position of SSG is a primary target for those behind this push.

Insiders, however, insist that whatever changes are made in Abiodun’s team , the Governor will retain Talabi as Secretary to the State Government.

“Talabi is too valuable to the Governor ” SocietyNow.Ng learned.

The added information available revealed that in preparation for his reappointment, Talabi has remained in the state capital, Abeokuta where he has been working with the governor.

“Talabi is in Abeokuta, there has been no break in his work with the Governor. Naming him SSG for another term will make the value he is adding formal, again for another term” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
