“I Am Proud Of All You Have Achieved, Prouder To Call You My Friend” — Abdul Samad Rabiu Celebrates Otedola

Founder and Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has celebrated billionaire businessman Femi Otedola on his birthday, describing him as a man of extraordinary courage, resilience and determination.

Rabiu, in a birthday tribute, expressed admiration for Otedola’s business achievements and personal qualities, saying he was particularly proud of their friendship.

“I am immensely proud of all you have accomplished, but even prouder to call you my friend,” the founder of the high-impact conglomerate stated.

Describing Otedola as a fighter and conqueror, the BUA chairman said his friend’s ability to confront challenges and remain determined until achieving his goals distinguished him.

“Life may throw its challenges, but you have shown time and again that you are not one to back down. When you believe in something, you stand your ground and fight for it with everything you’ve got,” one of the nation’s biggest employers of Labour added.

In a light-hearted remark, the BUA Chairman added: “And that is precisely why I always say, Femi is one man whose right side I intend to remain on!”

He, however, noted that behind Otedola’s formidable personality was a man with a soft heart, generous spirit and deep loyalty to those close to him.

Otedola, chairman of First HoldCo Plc, is a prominent Nigerian investor whose business interests span energy, banking, shipping and real estate. He previously led Geregu Power and founded Zenon Petroleum and Gas.

Abdul Samad Rabiu, meanwhile, founded BUA Group in 1988 and has grown it into one of Nigeria’s leading industrial conglomerates, with interests in cement, food production, sugar and infrastructure.

Praying for his friend’s long life, excellent health, joy and peace of mind, the philanthropist making landmark impacts in philanthropy with ASR Africa wished him greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
