Immediate past Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Banker, Subomi Balogun.
The man of means died on Friday, May 19, 2023, in London at the age of 89.
The death of the founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) continues to attract reactions from far and near as friends and associates pay condolence visits to the family.
Osinbajo’s visitation, however, appears significant as it parades all of the immediate family – (Widow, Olori Abimbola Adetutu Balogun, sons – Bolaji, Jide, Ladi, and Gboyega Balogun) of the late man of influence.
And also had in attendance elder statesman Olusegun Osoba, Governor Dapo Abiodun and appointees in his first term and others.
Osinbajo who released pictures from the event on his social media page wrote….
“Visited Olori Balogun, Bolaji, Jide, Ladi, Gboyega earlier this afternoon and the family of Late Otunba Subomi Balogun to condole with them on his loss.
We bless the name of the lord for the life of Service to school, profession, community, nation and so many of our father, Olori Omo Oba Subomi Balogun.
May his memory remain blessed forever. Amen.”
