Sunday Adeyemo the activist better known as Sunday Igboho has threatened a lawsuit against those slandering his name.

Igboho who was at the forefront of the raging move to liberate the people of Ibarapa area of Oyo state from the grip of criminals masquerading as herdsmen made the threats in the face of a recent narrative by former Senator Babafemi Ojudu.

Ojudu portrayed Igboho as deceitful and a thug for hire in the essay which has attracted widespread criticisms.

The former Senator in the narrative shot himself in the foot with certain inconsistencies in his narrative and self-indictment of passing himself off as a senior police officer to influence the outcome of a gubernatorial election.

Igboho who disputed the claims against him by Ojudu has threatened a lawsuit against such image denting narrative.

Ojudu claimed that he influenced Igboho to meet with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Ekiti state as part of efforts to help Kayode Fayemi become governor.

The politician from Ekiti alleged that Igboho was convinced to betray the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who contracted him as a political enforcer in a ploy that saw Ojudu impersonating a senior police officer.

Ojudu narrated Igboho pleaded that the plot should be kept a secret from Lamidi Adedibu who died a year before the incident.

Adeyemo who is riding high on the waves of public acceptance of his boldness in confronting criminals operating in the name of herdsmen has shredded Ojudu’s narrative insisting it didn’t happen.

Igboho explained that he met with Tinubu at the latter’s invitation at his Lagos residence and not Ekiti state.

The activists disclosed he decided not to work for PDP because Tinubu convinced him based on principles and not monetary gains.

He called Ojudu a liar and dared him to swear with his children if he insists on the narrative.
