Finally, Fayemi Honors Invitation By EFCC

Former Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has finally honored the invitation of the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The agency had invited the former governor for questioning over the alleged misappropriation of N4 billion during his state as the helmsman of Ekiti State.
But he requested a deferment till after the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu.
A report monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on Thecable.Ng revealed that Fayemi submitted himself to the agency for questioning today, Thursday, June 1, 2023.
He reported at the anti-corruption agency’s office in Ilorin Kwara state at about 10.am the report stated.
It is, however, not clear if he is still undergoing questioning at press time.
