Things didn’t go as planned for Transport Union Boss Musiliu Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo and his emissaries today- October 16, 2020.

The Lagos State chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), trying to douse the tension of allegations of sponsoring thugs to attack #EndSars protesters holding forte in Alausa, Lagos sent gifts to support the protest.

Oluomo who swore with his life that he has no hand in the attack which happened yesterday, October 15, 2020, sent a van load of gifts – including water, drinks, and snacks – as a show of good fate to the protesters.

Some of the gifts were branded with the inscription of MC Oluomo, NURTW chairman.

Societynow.ng gathered that the gesture was ‘’vehemently rejected’’ by the protesters in a manner that forced Oluomo’s gifts bearers to scamper away over the fear of possible attacks.

‘’An alarm was raised by some of the protesters that the gifts were an inducement to break their ranks with some stretching the allegation to another form of attack since the open confrontation by the thugs did not work’’ societynow.ng learned.

Sources disclosed that ‘’alarms’’ resulted in those who were already given some of the gifts throwing them at the van used to bring the gifts in anger.

Oluomo and “Crew”

‘’The gift bearers scurried into their vehicle and made a quick getaway from the area in fear of a possible mob action against them’’ societynow.ng learned.

He invoked great curses in the bid to clear his name insisting, he is in support of the raging protests by the #EndSars movement and its demands.
