EFCC Begins Prosecution Of Aare Arisekola Alao’s Son, Abdullahi, PDP Chair Turkur’s Son, Mahmud, Others For N14b Fuel Subsidy Fraud!

The big wigs that held the nation’s life line- the petroleum industry- in a vice grip of corruption are set to be prosecuted.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission handling the investigation has perfected arrangement to arraign the first set in court today.

Sources claimed the trial starts at a Lagos High court.

They stand accused of defrauding the nation to the tune of N14b.

The N14b is part of an alleged N382b fuel subsidy fraud rocking the polity.

Topping the offenders list are celebrated identities such as Mahmud, son of political party, People’s Democratic Party’s Chairman- Bamanga Tukur,  Abdullahi Alao, son of islamic leader- Aare Arisekola Alao, Mamman Nasir Ali- son of former Chairman of PDP, Fola Adeola former banker and vice presidential candidate.

The suspect list parades the names of 144 millionaires.

They stand accused of obtaining government money under false pretences.

Also in the list are such names as Ochonogor Alex; Adaoha Ugo-Ngadi, Fakuade Babafemi Ebenezer; Ezekiel Olaleye Ejidele; Abubakar Ali Peters, Jude Agube Abalaka and Oluwaseun Ogunbanbo.

The recommendations of the panel that looked into what is now tagged a national shame, that provided window into how supposedly reputable citizens swindled the nation is that the offenders be made to refund ill gotten fund and sanctioned.

Some of the ill gotten wealth and the beneficiaries about to face prosecution are

Abdullahi Alao and Axenergy-N2.6B

Mahmud Tukur, Ochonogor Alex and Eternal Oil And Gas Plc-N1,899,238,946.02

Nadabo Energy Limited, Abubakar Ali Peters, Jude Agube Abalaka and Pacific Silver Line Limited – N1.4b

Fago Petroleum and Gas Limited and Oluwaseun Ogunbanbo-N979,653,110.20m

Information made available to societynowng.com revealed that pressures and manuveres of varying shades are still on to quash the case- and absolve the suspects.
