Hajia Abba Folawiyo, the celebrated Nigerian and widow of Industrialist, Alhaji Wahab Iyanda Folawiyo has cancelled her planned lavish 70th birthday celebration.

And the reason for this is simple- her birthday falls into the Islamic fasting period of Ramadan.

A season that preaches abstinence from all thing worldly- and temptation leading.

Hajia Folawiyo’s birth date is Sunday July 22 2012.

Ramadan (Islamic fasting) started on Friday July 20 2012- it will last for 30 days.

Sources confirmed because the need for piety will take the shine off her lavish celebration, the celebrated socialite is said have cancelled the initially planned sunday ‘wonder birthday’.

She has postponed it to October, after Ramadan.

The specific date is yet to be confirmed.
