The Chairman of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers MC Oluomo – real name Musiliu Akinsanya – has released a new video.

The video was posted on his very active self-name Facebook page yesterday, March 9, 2022, at 12.40 a.m SocietyNow.Ng confirm.

It is a 51seconds capture of the beginning of an interaction with loyalists.

MC Oluomo after a shot solidarity song charged his followers “No Retreat, No Surrender”.

The video comes amid an intense power struggle between MC Oluomo and Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa over the control of NURTW in Lagos State.

The chairman of the Lagos state chapter of the transport union association is vehemently rebuffing interferences by the National President SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

MC Oluomo has refused to obey the directive of Baruwa to hand over some branches in the state to “disloyal members” and make others “state executive members”.

The state chairman has also kicked against moves by Baruwa to take over the operations of the tricycle operators in Lagos state out of his hands with the making of Istijabah Abdul Azeez Abiola ) state chairman of TOOAN (Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria).

At stake in the power tussle is the astounding revenue – running into millions on weekly basis – that makes Lagos state the cash cow of the nationwide NURTW.
