The checks by societynow.ng revealed that the ambition by Ibikunle Baruwa, the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to become a king in Ogun State is far from over.

Baruwa who has invested massively in the ambition over the years wants to be the first King in charge of the Balogun / Onjuwon area of Ota, Ogun State.

The information at hand revealed that the transport union top shot who has won many to his sides with the provision of life enhancers such as the provision of electricity, tarred roads, and clean water, and related lives impacting initiatives in the targeted area faces strong odds from two major quarters.

He is not in the good book of the government of the day in Ogun state and one of the most influential kings in the axis, Oba Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele – the Onilogbo – is rallying hard against Baruwa.

Baruwa is said to be the Onilogbo’s subject because “his father is from Ilogbo while his mother is from the area he wants to be king”

Insiders, however, revealed that the transport union boss remains undeterred by these oppositions.

He is said to have joined forces with those sympathetic to his ambition to institute a legal claim on Mosa Onjuwon, a part of the place he wants to be a King over.

Societynow.ng gathered that the move resulted in claims of “a judgment” – not seen but talked about that enabled his goons to storm the area and set of camp in a forced control.

“They set up camp in the Mosa about four months ago and they have not left the place” societynow.ng learned.

The continued of the “goons” in the area is seen as a direct indication of the burning ambition of Baruwa who is said to have built a palatial palace in Balogun to be king.
