Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike says there is no way aspirant Uche Secondus would not emerge the People’s Democratic Party chairman.

Wike is the chief backer of Secondus, the aspirant from his state.

And his emphatic declaration of Secondus emerging winner comes barely 24hours to decision time at PDP’s national convention.

The Rivers state helmsman made his assertion during an interview programme on Channels Television earlier today.PDP logo

‘’There is no way Secondus would not emerge winner’’ he told anchor person Maupe in the course of discussion and explained his reason to, the manner of work already done on delegates to the convention.

He explained there is no way the election would be rigged because ‘’we have the numbers of delegates’’.

Governor Wike further based his confidence on Secondus emerging the winner on claims that the aspirant is sure to get the block vote from the south south region and also share in the votes from the region of other aspirants.

Explaining the reason why he is not supporting the zoning of the party chairmanship position to the southwest, the governor insisted there is no need to favor one region over the other because all the zones are important to the progress of the party.

Narrowing down on the aspirants from the Southwest, Wike opined none of them possess the ability to bring peace to the party based on what obtains in their various states.

‘’Fayose does not support Tunde Adeniran in Ekiti…see all what Kashamu is writing about Daniel ..and problem in Lagos (where Bode George comes from) is many’’ the governor cited the troubles that tuned him off each southwest chairmanship aspirant.

The PDP convention to determine the chairman and occupiers of 22 other principal officers positions come up tomorrow Saturday, December 9, 2017.
