Kwara like some other states owe salaries though state governor Abdulfatah Ahmed is said to seeking means to offset the debt, with talks of securing loans topping the moves.
Saraki and his political travellers are alleged to be singled for attack based on widespread campaigns he is tele guiding the state governments action that have brought it to its current
state of ill health- especially alleged non utilisation of bailout funds to offset salary arrears.
Coincidentally Governor Ahmed escaped the treatment meted out to his political godfather and other loyalists, as well as religious leaders during the incident.
He was said to have opted for an alternate praying ground at his home town, Sare before the occurrence.
It is not clear why he chose to observe his Eid prayers away from the company of the man who fought all to ensure he emerged governor – as well as retain his seat during re election.
