Lagos Speaker Obasa Lists Gov Sanwo-Olu’s Wife Ibijoke, Clam Pastor Oladiyun As Witnesses Over Accusation He Siphoned N45.7m Xmas Party Fund

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly has listed high profile witnesses Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the Wife of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and popular pastor Wole Oladiyun of Clam as witnesses in disclaiming claims he siphoned N45.7m approved for a Christmas Party that didn’t hold.

Obasa asserted that the Christ Party held in December 2019 and doubled as also doubled as the ‘’Outreach Program’’ of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

According to a statement signed by Obasa’s Chief Press Secretary Tolani Abati in response to the allegations, the Speaker pocketed public fund in the guise of staging a Christmas party that never was

‘’ 1. The party held at the Assembly premises of the Lagos State Assembly and it was two-in-one, a combination of the Outreach programme and the normal Christmas party.

2. The First Lady of Lagos, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu was at the event.

3. As usual, there were clergymen at the event where a sermon was preached by notable man of God and General Overseer of Christ Living Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Pastor Wole Oladiyun.

4. His Royal Highness, Babatunde Ogunlaja, senior female politician, Chief Kemi Nelson, party chiefs and local government chairmen were there.

5. It is worthy of note that the children also held their party, which is the norm, at a different part of the Assembly premises on the same day.’’

Attached to the statement were pictures and a video of the event where Ibijoke Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu elatedly proclaimed ‘’I feel like dancing’’ and Pastor Oladiyun ministered briefly.
