Kashamu Buruji Engineers Police Arrest Of Guber Aspirant Ladi Adebutu’s Earmarked Deputy, Ogundele

Information filtering in have it that Sikirulai Ogundele, the earmarked Deputy of gubernatorial aspirant, Ladi Adebutu was arrested by the police earlier in the week questioning.

And this development is said to be based on the instance of fellow party man and leader of the People’s Democratic Party in the state, Senator Buruji Kashamu.

A top aide of former ogun state governor was reportedly arrested along with Ogundele a former State lawmaker and Local government Chairman from Ifo.

Information filtering in revealed Ogundele and the former governor’s aide were reportedly arrested over allegations of complicit in the missing party register.
‘Senator Kashamu claimed to the police via a petition that some boys were reportedly apprehended for burgling party secretariat and making off with the party register..they allegedly mentioned Ogundele and the governor’s aide as alleged mastermind…he initiated their arrest based on this pretext’’ a source stated.

He reportedly pushed for their detention and trial.

The allegation is said to have roots in raging battle for control for the PDP’s structure in the state with the coming party’s convention.

The allegedly missing register details those who will vote in new executives to run the party affairs.

Though in the same party, the Adebutu and Kashamu camp have different ideas and approach to how to run the party in the state.

Growing knowledge of the latest twist in the fight for control of the party is said to be creating consternation in many quarters.

A source confirmed he spoke with Ogundele who claimed to have the allegation against him ‘’hilarious’’.
