Emerging details have it that the deposed Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi was driven seven hours to his new location this morning.
Lawyers to Sanusi disclosed in a press briefing today.
Abubakar mahmud, the spokesperson for the deposed Emir’s legal team disclosed that the former Emir arrived the palace of the Emir of Loko, Abubakar Ahmad Sabo, Nassarawa state where he was initially relocated after a seven hours drive.
Mahmud said the deposed Emir was driven for seven hours and got to his new location at about 3.a.m today, Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
Societynow.ng learned that this was immediately after Sanusi was taken out of the Emir’s palace in Kano, ferried to Abuja in a private flight and taken from Abuja to Nassarawa in another flight.
There are emerging claims this is a form of mental torture and continuation of the persecution that unseated the former Emir since the revelation was made.
The lawyer, however, also revealed that the deposed Emir has barely settled down before he was moved out of the place to a remote location in Awe Local Government of the state.
