Disgraced Bank Boss- Cecilia Ibru, Son Obaro Absent At A-list Wedding For Oscar Ibru’s Daughter, Makashe

Disgraced former bank Managing Director Cecilia Ibru and her son, Obaro were noticeable absent at an Ibru family wedding that attracted many from far and wide.

There non attendance was made more glaring with the presence of wife at war with her in laws Maiden Ibru.

The occasion was the nupital of Makashe, daughter of flamboyant character and leader of the second generation of the famed family- Olorogun Oscar Ibru.

The bride got married to Kayode Awogboro.

The event held at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

It was the traditional arm – with the white wedding scheduled to hold in Paris a couple of days time.

The wedding which started around 12p.m was a parade of the who is who in the Ibru family clan and social circuit in general.

Brothers in blood and struggle for better government- J.P Clark and Edwin Clark and first generation Ibru- Felix were on hand to make the day a success.

Others were Samuel Adedoyin, Alex Duduyemi, Dr Ore Falomo, Professor Alfred Kasumu and wife, Kola Jamodu and of course Gloria, Elvina and Obukeme Ibru.

Oboden- first son of absentee Cecilia Ibru and elder brother of the infamous, Obaro reportedly came in later in the day- after the engagement ceremony.

Others that graced the event are, Prince Adekunle Ojora, Aremo Segun Osoba, Senator Ita Giwa, Hajia Abba Folawiyo, Niyi Adebayo, Ambassador Greg Mbadiwe, Fola Adeola and Duro Soleye.

Not left out the list are Joko Oni, Sherif Shagaya,Ebitimi Banigo and wife, Pelebo, Wale Edun and others

Sources confirmed that the absence of Cecilia and Obaro at such a major family engagement sparked a lot of side talks.

Many expected the step mother and step brother of the brides father to use the opportunity to stage a come back to the social scene.

The duo have hugged obscurity since Cecilia returned from jail- and Obaro kicked out of the former Oceanic Bank in her wake.

Their absentee at such an august family affair has thrown up the poser- when will the once upon a time celebrated bank boss and her son show their faces at a public function again?

Sources claimed the wedding they shunned lasted till past 10p.m.
