Again, Bishop David Oyedepo Bails Out Residents, Motorists In Ota From ‘Hellish Traffic’ with wide Spread Road work As Shiloh Beckons!

Again, Bishop David Oyedepo and his Living Faith Church World wide ministry- more popularly known as Winners Chapel- have bailed out residents and motorists in Ado/Ota Ogun state from the night mares of traffic.

The church just effected a wide spread renovation and reconstruction of different degrees on road networks in the area.

Amongst those listed as repaired by Bishop Oyedepo and his winners Chapel ministry are the long-abandoned Joju link road, several parts of Ota-Idiroko road (ECOWAS road), Atan –Agbara 17 kilometer road among others.

Also included are the tragic potholes and accident prone rough terrain that is Toll Gate border between Ogun and Lagos state.

This road repairs are a yearly effort by Winners Chapel.

The road rehabilitation and reconstruction usually heralds in the ministry’s annual end of the year week long programme- Shiloh.

This years edition kicks off on Tuesday December 8 2015.

The road repairs are primarily meant to ease movements for residents and visitors to the programme during Shiloh.

But based on the year long anguish it takes away, road users are full of praises for the popular pastor and his ministry for the efforts.

“The Bishop has done so well for us in Ota. He did not just rehabilitate or reconstruct our roads, but the quality of job done is marvelous.” Abiodun Abiola, a civil engineer provides insight into the mindset of the people and manner of work done

Digs revealed outside of the roads touched by Bishop oyedepo and his Winners Chapel there are over 20 major link roads within Ado-odo/Ota begging for rehabilitation or reconstruction.

The major link roads include Iju-Ilogbo road, Papa Aro road, Itele road, Animashahun-Bredero road, Ewupe road, Ilogbo road and Owode-Ijako road.

Others are Arigbabu-Adalemo road, Temidire road, Plaza road, Tarmac-Johnson market road, Iloye road, Singha-Oju oore road, Anglican road, Ilo Idimu road, Igbesa road and others.

Re elected Governor Ibikunle Amosun in his first term had embarked on reconstruction of some few kilometers within the core environment of the ancient town of Ota.

Yet to be completed after five years, the neglect of the major link roads dwarf whatever impact the governor’s initiative could have had.
