He attributes this development to fear for his safety.
The gubernatorial candidate claims to be out of the country in a chat with the national newspaper, Tribune.
Adebutu lost the Ogun state gubernatorial election to Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by less than fourteen votes.
He is challenging the victory of the governor who is about to be sworn in for a second term on May 29, 2023.
