Tribunal Kicks Out Nyesom Wike From Office, Orders Fresh Election

Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has been kicked out of office.

This development comes as a result of judgement delivered today in petition brought against the election that brought him to office.

The case was brought by All Progressives Congress Candidate, Dakuku Peterside.

The rule which came today – Saturday October 24- was delivered in the midst of gripping tension.

The tribunal ordered fresh election to be conducted within 90days.

In it’s ruling the governorship election tribunal claimed the members were in agreement that the evidence of the witnesses of Wike and INEC is incredible and unreliable and that it was satisfied that the petitioners have proved their case.
