“From a successful career in business to an amazing work with your foundation, you have accomplished so very much throughout your first remarkable six decades”, the former President of world power, the United States of America attested in a touching video aired during Elumelu’s 60th birthday symposium on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Elumelu celebrated the milestone with 60 entrepreneurs from across Africa representing about 16,000 entrepreneurs impacted by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) all over the continent.
The entrepreneurs shared motivating success stories at the symposium titled “60 For 60”.
“It has been inspiring for us to see pass on to philanthropist up close and to watch as you empower a rising generation of entrepreneurs across Africa.” Clinton further credited the proponent of Africapitalism, which positions the private sector, and most importantly entrepreneurs, as the catalyst for the social and economic development of the African continent.
