Fortune maker replicating himself in different fields across Africa, Tony Elumelu attains the milestone of 60 years old today, Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

A 60th birthday symposium signposting his achievements, especially in entrepreneurship was held in honor of one of Africa’s leading investors and philanthropists.

The Symposium titled “60 For 60” brought together 60 beneficiaries of the goods deeds of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), the frontrunner philanthropy empowering a new generation of economic changemakers across the continent.

The Entrepreneurs shared inspiring stories of the change the foundation that catalyzed nearly 16,000 entrepreneurs and created a digital ecosystem of over one million Africans, as part of a ten-year US$100m commitment to fund, mentor, and train young Africans has brought to bear on them, particularly through the seed capital, mentoring, and networking.
