Witnesses Tell How Much Ex-Speaker Oladipo Has Changed
He was also a two-term commissioner (for Culture/ Local Government Affairs and later Tourism)
Former speaker of Ogun state, Muyiwa Oladipo is a changed man.
Oladipo was the Speaker of the Ogun state House of Assembly during the era of Aremo Olusegun Osoba as the Governor of Ogun State.
He was also a two-term commissioner (for Culture/ Local Government Affairs and later Tourism) in the immediate past administration of Ibikunle Amosun.
Societynow.ng gathered that many who have not seen the former public office holder in recent time may mistake him for another person.
The holder of the chieftaincy title of Basorun now wears a white beard and very trendy clothing witnesses say.
“Gone are the Cocoa farmer like Buba and Sokoto that were the fad during the 8-year reign of Amosun. He has now adopted almost fitted attires, with finer cuts that make him look younger” societynow.ng learned.
Amosun popularize the Cocoa Farmer-like attires (much bigger than the wearer’s frame native attires ) when he became Governor. It is his preferred style.
Oladipo, the politician from Ishagamu – part of Remo where Governor Abiodun hails – is said to look far better than when he was a commissioner.
Muyi (as friends address the former speaker) runs his law chamber in Isale Igbehin area of the state capital, Abeokuta.
According to one of those conversant with his ways, Oladipo who came up with the concept of the annual Drum Festival new look defines someone who is “enjoying life after office”.
