Winners Pastor Got Less Than 500 Votes In Ogun Governorship Election

The Saturday, March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election in Ogun state is over but happenings surrounding it remain topical.

One of the trending talks about the election is the performance of Cyrus Oluwaseun Johnson, the Winners Pastor who contested the election as the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).

“Let’s just say he got less than 500 votes, the result was far below expectations” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The professional accountant was expected to put up a better performance in the gubernatorial election riding on the popularity of the “The People’s Force”.

The People’s Force was a majorly Door-to-Door campaign using everyday people to spreads his dreams and vision for the state.

The move was expected to complement his influence as a former House of Representatives candidate in the 2011 and 2019 elections.

“But all the votes he got across the state in the election told a very different story” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

Governor Dapo Abiodun,the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the election to secure a second term with 276, 298 votes while Ladi Adebutu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) toOK second place with 262, 383 votes.
