“Shun All Forms Of Fear, Guber Ambition Not Aborted” – Adebutu Tells Supporters

Gubernatorial hopeful, Oladipupo Adebutu insists that his ambition to become the next governor of Ogun state remains not aborted.

The PDP chieftain popularly known as “Lado” or “Ladi Adebutu” told members to “remain calm and shun all forms of fear or distractions”, insisting “his mission to save Ogun State from the shackles and maladministration of  All Progressive Congress, as unaborted(not aborted)” 

The gubernatorial hopeful gave supporters confidence at the wards meeting of party members in Remo North Local Government of Ogun State on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, according to a post monitored on Lado TV social media page by SocietyNow.Ng.

The PDP Chairman in Ogun State, Sikirulai Ogundele who accompanied Adebutu to the political meeting also assured members that PDP would participate in the forthcoming election in Ogun State and that issues within the party will be resolved in no distant time

A court case instituted by sympathizers of Jimi Lawal, another gubernatorial aspirant in the PDP has resulted in a judgment that canceled all the party’s primary in Ogun state. The development voided the candidacy of Adebutu and other flagbearers of the PDP for the 2023 election in Ogun state.

The judgment ordered the conduct of a fresh primary election to accommodate all interests within 14 days.

Adebutu is, however, contesting the judgment.
